Spicy Sardine Rice Cakes


  • Dollee Sambal Nasi Lemak
  • Sushi Rice 
  • Canned Sardine (deboned and smashed)
  • Cucumber (sliced)
  • Boiled Egg (sliced)
  • Ikan Bilis, Peanut (optional) 


  • Cook Sushi Rice as per packet instructions
  • Mix smashed canned sardine with Dollee Sambal Nasi Lemak
  • In a 1 cup dry measuring cap, layer cucumber, then ¼ compact rice, canned sardine then fill with rice and compress to fit. 
  • Carefully turn the cup upside down onto a plate, lightly tapping the bottom of the cup if necessary.  Garnish with a slice of egg and serve.
