Dollee Recipes

KAYA LAYER CAKE

Ingredients
  

  • Dollee Kaya

A

  • 4 Medium Eggs
  • 40 g Icing Sugar (extra for dusting)
  • 1 tbsp White Vinegar / Lemon Juice

B

  • 40 ml Vegetable Oil
  • 40 ml Milk
  • 80 g Plain Flour (sifted)
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • ½ tbsp Baking Powder

Instructions
 

  • Whisk/beat X until light & fluffy (± 10 mins). Separately, whisk Y until well combined.
  • Fold in Y to X in 2 batches. Do not over mix to prevent deflating of bubbles. 
  • Pour into 2 #x# loaf pans lined with baking paper.  Shake & tap lightly to remove any large bubbles.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 170 °C for about 25 minutes until golden brown. 
  • Allow to cool before turning over cakes onto a flat surface.
  • Layer the cakes & fill generously in between with Dollee Kaya.
