Assam Pedas Beef Pot Pie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 packet Dollee Assam Seafood Paste
  • 1 kg Beef (cubed) also delicious with other proteins – chicken, mutton, tofu, etc. 
  • 400 ml Water
  • 1 Tomato (quartered)
  • 1 Onion (quartered) 
  • 1 Potato (diced)
  • 1 cup Peas
  • Home made or ready-to-use puff pastry or short crust pastry

Instructions
 

  • Stir fry Dollee Assam Seafood Paste with Beef for 10 minutes.  
  • Add water & simmer until beef is tender (about 1 hour) 
  • Add Tomato, Onion, Potato, Peas and simmer for another 15 minutes. 
  • Dish beef into pie dishes & cover with pie pastry. 
  • Eggwash & bake in a preheated oven according to instructions until the crust is golden brown. Serve warm.
